Descriptions of Products

Every effort is made to ensure the descriptions, prices and specification of products on the Website are as accurate as possible. However, due to the hand-made nature of the products offered on the Website, some of these descriptions are approximate and each work is unique and may show the hand of the maker.

In the unlikely event that there are material errors in the description of the goods you have ordered or their prices, your order may not be accepted. We will contact you immediately should this situation occur and a full refund will be offered.

We may correct any error appearing in the Website or withdraw any product from sale without incurring liability. Price and availability is also subject to change without notice.

We make every effort to ensure that the colours of the work on this website are accurate. However, due to the nature of both computer operating system colour palettes and computer monitor displays, there may be discrepancies beyond our control.

By agreeing to our Terms and Conditions you the customer are confirming that you are 18 years old or over, otherwise you will have permission from your parents or guardians.

We accept credit and debit cards (Visa & Mastercard) through Stripe, a secure payment system. All payments are extremely secure through Stripe. We do not store any sensitive payment information.

We will confirm acceptance of your order by email to the address you have given and the sending of this email (whether or not it is received) makes the contract between us. We reserve the right in our absolute discretion to accept or reject any offer.

Price and payment

All products remain the property of Sladers Yard until payment is received for both product and postage (unless the customer is collecting the piece or having it collected). The price of the products will be the price quoted on the Website at the time we accept your order.  All prices are subject to change without notice.

The price will include any applicable value added tax, but not the cost of delivery. You will be sent a full VAT invoice with your artwork detailing the applicable VAT due on your purchase.

We aim to dispatch orders within 3-4 days of receipt (though often sooner).

If you’re purchasing a gift and need delivery by a specific date please contact us first: gallery@sladersyard.co.uk

Delivery charges quoted on the Website are for UK addresses. Items are sent by Royal Mail unless another method is more cost effective or appropriate.

All work will be securely and carefully packaged.

Unless otherwise stated, all items will be insured by Sladers Yard whilst in transit to cover loss or non-delivery. Delivery by Royal Mail does not include insurance against damage and you must take responsibility for this risk.

International Shipping

If you wish to place an order and live outside the UK or EU please contact us so that we can find the  best price for your delivery.

Orders from outside of the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes incurred when the delivery reaches your destination. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges and cannot foresee their amount or take any responsibility for them or for delays they may incur.

The charges of import duties and taxes must be paid by the recipient of the order. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.

Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

Sladers Yard are delighted that you have chosen to purchase art from our gallery. However, if for any reason you are not happy and wish to return your purchase, please contact us by email: gallery@sladersyard.co.uk within 14 days of your order’s arrival.

Please do not ship the item(s) until you have received a response from us via email confirming your return.

Please Note  We will only accept the return of item/s if they are in unused condition, in the original undamaged packaging or packaging of the same quality and shipped to the gallery at your expense. All parcels are sent back at your own risk. We would advise using recorded delivery as the parcel is not our responsibility until we sign for it. It is most likely that earrings cannot be returned due to hygiene reasons however this does not affect your statutory rights.

Once we have received your email, one of our team will be in touch to confirm whether you are eligible for a return or exchange. In the case of a refund, the amount owed will be issued to the original source of payment excluding shipping costs and international customs fees, if applicable. These will be made within 10 business days of the return.

You do not have the right to change your mind and cancel the contract between us for bespoke orders, such as editions, or where a product has been made to your specifications and is clearly personalised unless that product is faulty.

Nothing in this returns policy affects your ‘statutory rights’ under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
